Conner is the Education Coordinator at El Salitre Women’s Center, where he collaborates with teachers in the after-school program to provide fun, engaging, and exploratory enrichment for the children attending.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Conner moved to Guatemala in 2015 after a volunteer opportunity sparked his passion for education and Guatemalan culture, leading to a long-term stay.

With a background in Latin American politics and development, Conner has spent over nine years working in education in Guatemala, progressing from teacher to academic director. He is deeply committed to the belief that education is a fundamental human right and has dedicated his career to ensuring that marginalized groups receive the education they deserve.
